John’s Friends & Family Page

John HeadshotHi! Thanks for visiting the Bridge Rep website, and this private page we’ve set up for my friends and family. After taking a look, please consider making a tax-deductible donation so we can bring our second season to life. You are reading this because I feel you’ve contributed to my growth as a person and an artist — I hope I am making you proud!

Sincerely, John

Bridge Rep was started by Olivia, my classmate from grad school at Brown/Trinity. Here we are, performing together in The Crucible in our third year:

Over the last year, Bridge Rep produced a full season — four shows in all! When I moved to Boston, I started working with the company, serving as Props Master for not JennyHello Again, and Gidion’s Knot. Just recently, I officially became an Artistic Associate!

So far, Bridge Rep has been really well received. We even got some prestigious nominations from the Elliot Norton Awards Committee and the Independent Reviewers of New England!

In the upcoming season, I’ll be Assistant Stage Manager and Co – Props Master for our fall show — a world premiere called The Forgetting Curve. One of my favorite things about Bridge Rep is that it gives me opportunities to revisit some other aspects of making theatre that I have always loved.

Being part of Bridge Rep has really helped me feel at home in my new city. Even more than making theatre, we have built an amazing community of patrons and artists that I truly believes serves the city of Boston. Will you help me continue to create joy, culture and community by making a tax-deductible gift to Bridge Rep?

To give you an idea — our shows cost between $15,000 – $30,000 to produce, so a gift of any amount that is meaningful to you will also be meaningful to me and to the company!

Here are some ideas to get you started:
